How We Handle Your Data

Bountiful Catering Ltd is the data controller for all personal information collected through this website. We are committed to full compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What We Collect

We collect the name, email address, phone number, and event details you provide through our enquiry form. We may also collect technical data such as browser type and IP address via cookies and analytics tools.

Lawful Basis for Processing

We process your personal data on the lawful bases of contractual necessity (to respond to your enquiry and fulfil a booking) and legitimate interests (to maintain accurate client records and improve our service). Where required, we will seek explicit consent.

How We Use Your Information

Your data is used solely to respond to enquiries, process bookings, manage event logistics, and communicate service-related updates. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party for marketing purposes.

Data Retention

Client records are retained for six years following the completion of a contract, in line with UK financial and legal obligations. Enquiry data for non-converting prospects is deleted within 12 months.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@bountifulcatering.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

Bookings, Payment & Cancellation

These terms govern all contracts between Bountiful Catering Ltd (the Company) and the client. By confirming a booking, the client agrees to the terms set out below. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Booking Confirmation

A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of a signed proposal and a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total agreed fee. Until both are received, dates remain available to other clients without notice.

Payment Terms

The remaining balance is due no later than 14 days before the event date. For corporate accounts with agreed credit terms, invoices are payable within 30 days of issue. Late payments may incur a statutory interest charge under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act 1998.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made more than 30 days before the event: deposit forfeited. Cancellations made 15–30 days before the event: 50% of total fee payable. Cancellations made fewer than 14 days before the event: 100% of total fee payable. All cancellations must be made in writing.

Guest Numbers & Dietary Requirements

Final guest numbers and confirmed dietary requirements must be provided no later than seven days before the event. The Company cannot guarantee accommodation of requirements submitted after this deadline. Additional guests added within the final week are subject to availability and a premium supplement.

Liability

Bountiful Catering Ltd holds full public liability insurance. Our liability is limited to the total value of the contracted service fee. We are not liable for losses arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control, including venue restrictions or force majeure events.

Accepted Payment Methods

We accept payment by BACS bank transfer, company cheque, and major debit or credit cards. Card payments may incur a processing fee of up to 1.5%. All fees are quoted exclusive of VAT where applicable.
